The Michigan Land Title Association met at its annual convention July 13 & 14, 2026, at Boyne Mountain Resort.
Kristen Dankert was elected as the 2026/2027 Board President, Debbie Haught as the President Elect, and Amy Zemple as the Secretary-Treasurer. Maura Snabes is automatically the Immediate Past President. The MLTA board welcomed new MLTA Directors: Lavinia Biasell, Chief Legal Officer of Transnation Title Agency, and Christina Robinson, Regional Manager with Capital Title Insurance Agency.
During the annual convention, the Mary C. Feindt Award, “For Dedicated Service to the Michigan Land Title Association,” was presented to John C. Bommarito, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary for ATA National Title Group, LLC. The Robert J. Jay Award, “In Sincere Appreciation for Outstanding Leadership and Contributions to the Michigan Land Title Association,” was presented to Phillip J. Neuman, shareholder, Couzens Lansky.
