At the November 12, 2018 Board Meeting, the Board presented a $2,000 check to Kent Bosma, the Director of Development for Safe Haven Ministries based in Grand Rapids. Safe Haven offers residential services to women and their children who have experienced or are experiencing domestic abuse.

After the lunch break at the November 14 Fall Education Seminar, Dave Moldovan (Chairman of the Public Service Committee) presented a $2,000 check to Theresa Toia of Friends of Foster Kids (FOFK) located in Macomb County. They have also expanded its service to lend a hand to those who have aged out of foster care at age 20 with no family and no place to live but are still in need of assistance.
